I am looking to capture some metrics that would give me the following
1) Volume based metrics for each ETL SSIS Package ( for example loading 100MB vs Terabyte)
2) Recording those metrics and perform analysis to see and provide recommendations to the engineering team
3) Perform quality and enhanced report for recommendations or change development
Apparently i don't seem to find a tool that does that.
I had looked at DTlogger but that doesn't work above 2008 version
any suggestions on tools or find ways to record and see peak and implement improvments on
1) Server
2) ETL package ITself
3) Methodology or design improvements.
I need something that can be switched performance counters on or off as I desire, without having me to do anything during package development; in addition I need ALL the data and the information I can have, since when I have to understand why a package didn't run succesfully in a production enviroment, and record the same information
