SSIS package - Any simple way to log custom message and Variable value

Hello,

Is there any simple way to log custom messages and variable values in SSIS log file.

I selected "SSIS log entries for events to the Event log" now i want to write some custom messages and want to check value of variable during execution of foreach loop.

With RaiseChangeEvent, i can get entry in log file but without value.

I looked at multiple post, everyone is talking about writing script or something like that to get it done.

Any pointers will help me to get it in a simpler way.
