Does anyone have any best practices for using SSISDB and Environment Parameters that they're willing to share?

We're moving from SSIS 2008r2 to SSIS 2016 and plan to use the SSISDB and use TFS Release for deployments across our development, UAT and production server environments.

We're wondering if anyone has any best practices they are willing to share around how best to make use of the Environment Parameters, etc.
