I have Sysdba permission on the SQL 2014 instance. there is also installed SSIS 2014 instance on the server. when connecting to this SSIS instance in SSMS(I am not local admin), I get "Connecting to the Integration Services service on the computer "ServerName" failed with the following error: "Access is denied.""
Will any database permissions assignation allow connection without local admin permissions on the box? or DCOM permissions as per https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/integration-services/service/integration-services-service-ssis-service?view=sql-server-2017#eliminating-the-access-is-denied-error is the only way?
Let's say first for local connection to SSIS(RDP to the server)
Then generalizing for remote connection to the server.
Thank you,
