Question: How do I update an Excel file from a SQL Server 2012 table using SSIS 2012?
Background: The state gov't requires an annual detail report from us, but our data warehouse doesn't have all the columns we need. Instead of adding new columns to our data warehouse, we exported the tables to Excel and then added the new columns there. When a new row is added (or table data is updated), we need this change to propagate to the Excel file. New codes will be added to the Excel file manually, but we want the data that came from the table to be updated by SSIS.
