Hi under vs2008, I've suddenly lost most of my toolbox items for ssis. I've done all of the remedies I see on line (eg choose items, rt click and reset toolbox, x out and then show toolbox again, x out of remote session where vs2008 runs and then reconnect). I already logged off my local between yesterday and today but problem remains.
I see a few items under the maint toolbox category but cant even add some of my dfd components to that toolbox category.
Are there security (maybe to libraries containing toolbox components) considerations in something like this? Back around the 13th, my base permissions here were accidentally removed. But then given back. But there was some fallout that needed to be corrected even after the base group was returned to me. My understanding is that when you lose your base permission, your supplemental (might be wrong term) permissions go away too. So I guess we are returning various permissions to me piecemeal but not necessarily the way they originally looked, rather by need.
Any thoughts? I think the data tools are called BIDS under vs 2008. Some of our support folks are comparing my permissions to those belonging to others who still see their toolboxes. I noticed when I "chose items" some of the items that were already clicked aren't showing in my toolbox list either.
HELP!
