How to retrieve AS400 member list?

Hi all,

I'm doing data extraction from AS400(V5R2) to SQL Server 2005 through SSIS. Files with member can be accessed by alias. I'd like to know if it is possible to get the member range via SSIS or which control file in AS400 should be accessed to get the member range information. Furthermore, is there a best practice about data extraction from AS400 to SQL Server 2005?
