Without using Attunity adapters (which involves upgrading SQL to Enterprise) and not using customer connectors (like CozyRoc) is there anyway we can achieve decent performance levels with Oracle Provider for OleDB.
Right now a flat file to a flat staging table (no constraints, all strings) with 250,000 records takes 7 mins. The fast load options don't work with Oracle destination as apparently the OleDB drivers do not support BULK INSERT (can someone confirm that too).
If the suggestion is to use ODBC, can someone please post a link on steps to install it. I have done some ODBC installation but have found the connector to be quite flaky.
