I' m getting this error 

[Excel Source [2]] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_CANNOTACQUIRECONNECTIONFROMCONNECTIONMANAGER.  The AcquireConnection method call to the connection manager "Excel Connection Manager" failed with error code 0xC0202009.  There may be error messages posted before this with more information on why the AcquireConnection method call failed.

while exporting from xl document. This is a data flow task with excel connection manager and the database or oledb destination. 

Here are some of the things I tried. 

1) Excel connection manager -alter the connection to fetch an xls document (97-2003 version)

2) have the project properties set to run in 32 bit format.

3)have the delayed validation set.

Nothing worked so far. Can anyone solve this issue?
