Hi all,
at a new customer, where we need to load large volumes of data from Oracle, I experimented with different source connectors.
The results surprised me a little bit.
ODBC Source was 2x faster then the Attunity connector, which on his turn was not faster than the default olebd source connector in SSIS.
So I loaded 1.000.000 rows from Oracle in 22 secs with ODBC, while Attunity & OLE DB connectors took 50 seconds on average.
If i believe what I read on internet, Attunity should be much more performant, but apparently it isn't (in my case).
Are there certain settings I should change in order for Attunity to load faster?
Regard,
Tony
