I'm new to SSIS 2012, but reasonably familiar with 2008.
I have a simple data flow. Flat File Source to OLE DB Destination. Nothing in between. I purposely caused a truncation error on the Flat File Source. I have this same data flow in 2008 BIDS and 2012 BIDS (I don't think it is called BIDS in 2012 but you know what I mean).
Both packages fail as expected due to the truncaton error, but in 2012 version the rows that didn't have the truncation error get moved into the target. So I have a partial load. In 2008, none of the rows get moved.
The latter is the behavior I am used to. Is this is a setting somewhere that I took for granted in 2008 but in 2012 I need to set specifically?
