I have a Production server in a shared environment which is hosting more than 300 DBs. Here, my requirement for One AAA database, where we have a user "xxxx" with DBOwner to that AAA database. I have granted this. But the questions is, they want this user to get the ability to "Create/alter/drop their own Jobs / SSIS packages" that belong to that particular database. Also, one more twist to my confusion is they don't want this user to be accessing the MSDB database directly as it is a Shared environment.
I Have tried using the Database roles and added the SQL ServerAgent security to this user, but for doing this I am mapping this user to MSDB. I need to know if there is a way to grant privilige to handle the Jobs/SSIS packages related to that Particular database.
Any help on this would be more appreciated.
