Anyone else finding that cleaning up SSISDB using the Agent job "SSIS Server Maintenance Job" is a very slow and near impossible task?
EDIT: Let let qualify that a bit... there is a clean up retention window that you can set on the SSIS catalog. This rentention window get used by the cleanup job to figure out how much to delete with each run. The default seems to have been set at 365 days. I have about 80 days built up so far which is about how long I've been using SSIS 2012. And in some days I can have 1000's of executions. And when I try to delete one day's worth of stuff, it seems like it will take a while.
