Hi

Has anyone knows why the "Oracle Provider for OleDB" does not apper on a x64 Windows server 2008 ? when trying to create a connection to an Oracle database using SSIS (sql Server 2012) installed on a 64-bit (x64) machine?

I'm trying to deploy my project from my PC win7 x32,  to the production server.

Obviosly I have installed the Oracle client 11g x64 on the server.I test the functionality of the client using "the great SQLPlus"  (lame tool. so old , brigs me back to 70s lol). I can connect, make a query and works fine, I do run DTSWizard to test the "oledb provider for oracle" and works too!! but I can not use it when trying to create a conection from the "conection manager" on my SSIS project, and then, my packages developed on my PC dont run on the server!!

On my PC  I see the "conecion manager" like this:

Any help pleaseeeeeeee, I don't know what to do

Thanks a lot !!!!,

Salu2 Sergio T
