Export to Excel. Column name must contain full Stop (.)

Hi there.

I am having huge problems with an issue where I am trying to export data from sql view to excel. The view can be ran successfully with header called 'Trans. details'....However when through SSIS I try to run the export I am getting error message

[Destination - bkIntermuneDailySalesView2 [79]] Error: Column "Trans.Detail" cannot be found at the datasource.

I can preview the data etc when I am creating the package and it appears correctly...however when I go to execute this is the issue that i get...

Please help as this is a complete show stopper for the job that I am doing.
