Hi,

I have created a package using SSIS 2008 R2. The package has mulitple passwords that are used to connect to different DB sources to fetch the data.I have set the security as "ENCRYPTALLWITHPASSWORD". The package is working fine when I am running it locally.

I WANT TO SCHEDULE THE PACKAGE ON A SERVER WHICH HAS SSIS 2008 (IT HAS NOT R2 installed).

I am NOT able to run the package on the SERVER. I tried to downgrade the package by modifying the settings to "DONONTSAVESENSETIVE". I followed the instructions from "http://agilebi.com/jwelch/2010/05/13/moving-ssis-packages-with-ado-net-destinations-between-2008-r2-and-2008/" this link.

The main problem is I CANNOT save the DB credentials in the package. Can somebody please tell me how to downgrade the package WITHOUT LOOSING credentials.

Thanks,

Nitin
