Deploying SSIS packages to the File system

Hi All,

I need to ask you some questions to get an idea on deploying SSIS packages to the File System.

1) if we deploy the package using the file system option using a config file do we need to always add the config file when running it? or how do we point the package to the config file when deploying it using this method?

2) How do we run the package daily when deployed using this method? For the other option we could use SQL jobs.

3) Another thing is if we are going to deploy it to a new environment (server) using the File system method does the Server need to have SQL Server BI tools installed on the machine in order to run the package?

Please let me know the answers so that I could get a better understanding.
