Can I use "Flat File Source" rather than "Excel Source" if my Excel Source File has two header rows that I want to ignore?

Our source file that we are pumping into a SQL Server Table is an Excel .xls File. But it has two header rows. Can I use "Flat File Source" rather than "Excel Source" to go ahead and ignore or "Header rows to skip" be 2 rather than using the "Excel Source" which only allows you to check "First row has column names"?

I am new to the SSIS World and am just curious as to whether I can go ahead and us "Flat File Source" to specify my Connection Manager to enumerate the number of header rows, two in this case, rather than using the "Excel Source" for an Excel File.

Thanks for your review and am hopeful for a reply.
