Hi,
I have created a Package where the datasource is an excel file and the destination is the remote SQL server DB 2005 .
The package runs fine when I run from BIDS 2005 but when I do a file system deployment it says the Connection Manager doesnot exist.
I did all the below settings:
- Enable remote connections on the instance of SQL Server that you want to connect to from a remote computer.
- Turn on the SQL Server Browser service.
- Configure the firewall to allow network traffic that is related to SQL Server and to the SQL Server Browser service.
Firewall in the remote server is turned off.
All the other settings are in place.
I have developed the Package in 32 bit version and the test server has 64 bit version . is this the problem?
Please suggest a solution? Urgent deliverable.
