Hi All,
Not sure if this is right section or not, but here's my question.
I
have created lots of SSIS .dtsx ETL packages for SQL 2005 using Visual
Studio 2005 on a 2003 R2 server . Now I need to export them to a 2008 R2
64bit server with SQL 2008 server environment.
I initially
tried using visual studio 2010 (which server team installed) but found
you couldn't us it for SSIS. Then I asked for Visual Studio 2008 but
also found that (though I might be wrong) is also not used for SSIS
.dtsx development.
Apparently I need to be using Business
Intelligence Development Studio which is a separate optional install in
the SQL server install. Can anyone confirm that this is correct? getting
a bit frustrated, any help would be great.
Thanks
