I've trying to get a report from a Website. I have the Username and Password. When I navigate through the website set my report and download it manually. The other way that I found with the browser open copy a link like this and download the automatically: https://exaple/file.csv?since=2019-08-01T00:00:00.000Z&until=2019-08-31T23:59:59.000Z. I'm wondering if it's exists a C# script that I can use in SSIS with the method WebResponse or other possible Solution. I would like to automate this process with SSIS

ADO NET Destination with SqlHierarchyId Type
Hi,
I am rewriting all oledb connections to ADO NET connections. But the ADO NET Destionation does not support the SqlHierarchyId.
Exact message:
Error at <task name>: The data type "Microsoft.SqlServer.Types.SqlHierarchyId" found on column "ColumnName" is not supported for the ADO NET Destination
The ADO NET source works fine.
I can come up with solutions like writing in stage table and then insert into the other table with a sql command but this doesn't sound like a proper solution.
Any ideas?

SSDT 2017 missing IS template
Hi.
I was having VS 2017 + SSDT 2017 installed on local computer. And yesterday, after having some win 8.1 update, VS is missing IS templates. I uninstalled VS and SSDT and installed it all. And after first running VS i was having IS templates. But second time i cant open IS project and i dont have IS templates.
Is there any ideas?

Add custom sheet in existing excel files.
I have created dynamic excel files with 2 worksheets in each file. I want to add another worksheet into each excel file which consists of my custom page which is needed to be added in each existing excel file.
All the existing excel files are in a folder and I am looking to loop through all the existing excel files in that folder and add the custom page to each file being as a 3rd worksheet of that excel file.

The changes made in the File Connection Manager Editor do not get saved.
I have the 'usage type' set to existing file, and I change the file path to a directory that has the file I want to process, I click OK; and after I run the package in debug mode and I go back into the File Connection Manager Editor the info has reverted to the original values.

For each loop -- Different Values

I need to design an ETL flow where I need to filter different start and end dates.
For example :
Iteration 1
StartDate -- FirstDayofThisMonth
Enddate -- LastDayofThisMonth
Iteration 2
StartDate -- FirstDayofPreviousMonth
EndDate -- LastDayofPreviousMonth
Iteration 2
StartDate -- FirstDayofPreviousQuarter
EndDate -- LastDayofPreviousQuarter
I have build a Time Table which holds all this data. I have an execute sql task and holds the different start and end date from my Time Table and results were stored in 6 different variables.
How can I pass the 3 scenarios one by one on For each loop , Please help

Input files column formatting
Hello,
I have created a SSIS package and loaded .csv files to SQL server tables. On reviewing the data in SQL server tables I found scientific formatted data in my output, so I opened the input .csv file and looked at the format for that columns and I found that for some rows the format was 'Scientific' and for others it was 'General'.
I wanted to know can we check the format of the input files using a Script Task or any other transformation and if it is needed to changed can we change that.
Please advise.

Creating a flat file in SSIS
Hello,
I am trying to create a flat file as a destination, but the way the user want in a format that I am not sure how to do it.
This is how my data looks like:
150882||00641604710^60977011302^00641604701^10019010301^00641604501^00409677902|LORAZEPAM INJ (MDV) |||SOLUTION|4|MG|10|ML|||||INJECTION||
So basically, only MEDID and then all the NDC_CODE seperated by a ^ then GENERIC_NAME and then remainder of the columns. Can I able to achieve with SSIS ?

CDC Task in SSIS

If I run the package twice, it will load duplicated records. Don't know what the specific reason is.

Incremental load with history data
Hi Team,
Have one large table in production and daily 50000 new records are inserting. Want to move this data in new table (table with isActive column) with incremental load.
While implementing incremental load needs to follow bellow steps.
1. If data updated in production, we make isActive to '0' in destination table and reload updated records from source to destination
2. After make isActive to '0' in destination, load new records from source to destination
If it possible please help on same

The Script Task uses version 15.0 script that is not supported in this release of Integration Services

We are migrating an SSIS project from SQL 2012 to SQL 2016. The project upgraded successfully without any issues and able to run few packages without any errors. But there are few packages which has got the script task and they are failing. The error message is as below: -
Error: There was an exception while loading Script Task from XML: System.Exception: The Script Task "ST_bb19096e98ab45d2a2d6132b995cd509" uses version 15.0 script that is not supported in this release
of Integration Services. To run the package, use the Script Task to create a new VSTA script. In most cases, scripts
are converted automatically to use a supported version, when you open a SQL Server Integration Services package
in %SQL_PRODUCT_SHORT_NAME% Integration Services. at
Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.ScriptTask.ScriptTask.Load
FromXML(XmlElement elemProj, IDTSInfoEvents events)
This runs fine when run from BIDS (VS2015). It also runs fine if the project is deployed from BIDS and run through agent job. But when the deployment happens through .ispac (deployment) file, this error occurs. Can somebody suggest how to get past this error?
Is it any known issues with migration or with SSIS 2016?

Excel connection manager - no tables or views could be loaded
I'm running BIDS on my xp pro client trying to create an SSIS package to move data from an excel document to an MS SQL Server DB on a remote windows 2008 server. I create a SSIS package, create a new connection manager for excel (new connection>connection manager for excel files>browse to the excel document on my client>specify microsoft excel 2007). From the toolbox I drag in a control flow, create an excel source within it, specify my excel connection manager within the excel source, select table or view as the access mode and when I click on the drop down to select the name of the file I get the "unspecified error" alert...when I close the alert the textbox contains "no tables or views could be loaded".
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks lots for any help, Roscoe
