First time poster ,long time reader :)
I need some clarification on the below:
If I create a package and all its connection managers and then deploy to IS catalogs. I then create a job in Sql Server Agent.
I run the package using the Sql Server Agent Service Account. Does the fact that i created those packages have any bearing after i use the agent service account?
The reason for my question is that once my rights to that table were removed the package failed even though its using the agent service account? i have read that it should not have any bearing but i also read conflicting reports so i am i bit and would appreciate some clarity.
